How does the length adjustment on the MJI-1500 Telescopic Boom work?
The boom features a mechanical telescopic system with 3 manual reach positions, reaching a maximum extended length of 1,500 mm (1.5 m). It locks securely into each position using heavy-duty steel safety pins with quick-release retaining clips.
Does the load capacity change when the boom is extended?
Yes. According to leverage and forklift stability physics, capacity is highest in the retracted position and decreases proportionally as it extends. The boom features an engraved load rating chart directly on the chassis in accordance with OSHA and NR-11 standards.
How is the boom secured to the forklift forks to prevent slippage?
It features dual reinforced fork pockets with two heavy-duty threaded T-handle clamping bolts on top, plus a high-tensile safety chain anchored to the forklift mast carriage.
What hook is included and what lifting gear is supported?
Includes a 360° swivel forged steel alloy hook equipped with a spring-loaded safety latch. Fully compatible with synthetic lifting slings, wire rope slings, and chain assemblies for handling Big Bags, engines, and industrial machinery.
